SAS Contracts Ltd was formed by Stewart Steele in February 2010 as a Limited Company to undertake the fit out and refurbishment of commercial and industrial property. Over the years the company has established a strong client base of architects, surveyors and direct clients which has resulted in annual turnover increasing year on year since our inception. Our success can be greatly attributed to us working as part of a team with both the client and the design team to achieve the desired objectives.
SAS Contracts Ltd offer a high quality service, focused on the provision of professionally managed and properly resourced projects for a wide variety of clients in both the public and private sectors.
Stewart is a Chartered Civil Engineer, who initially upon his graduation was involved in heavy civils contracts including the heaviest cable-stay bridge in the world which formed part of the route from Hong Kong island to the new Hong Kong Airport at Chek Lap Kok which Stewart was also involved in from inception to handover including the fit out of several airline lounges.
Stewart now has over 15 years experience in both fit out and refurbishment works in the UK. He is backed up by a Project Management team comprising of both professionally qualified and extensively experienced individuals, with experienced Project Managers from both trade and professional backgrounds. The hands on approach of the Director provides clients with the reassurance that all projects will be handled in a professional manner.
We employ carefully selected, highly skilled and experienced Site Managers who have developed from a trade background. They compliment the professional staff by providing a high level of technical expertise. In addition to site managers, SAS Contracts Ltd employs a direct labour force consisting of joiners, ceiling fixers, partitioning joiners and enabling works operatives.
These people form the backbone of every project which in turn allows us to maintain the quality of output expected by our clients.
The health, safety and welfare of our employees and sub-contractors is a key part of the companies ethos and on-going training is provided to all site operatives to ensure that risks inherent within any construction project are minimised.
SAS Contracts Ltd also retains the services of a professionally qualified Health & Safety consultant to ensure that the CDM Regulations and all other statutory regulations are adhered to.
We employ an external consultant to ensure compliance with all current regulations. We are also Safecontractor registered.
